BIOGRAPHY
          Rendschmidt won the K2 1000 and K4 1000 at Rio 2016 and the K4 500 at Tokyo 2020. He continued his stelar run in Paris to make it four Olympic titles by defending the K4 500. The eight-time world medallist is a police officer and comes from a canoeing family. His mum Ruth represented Germany at Seoul 1988. Brothers Tim and Kai are also Canoe Sprint athletes.
